LANGTANG GOSAIKUND TREK

 
     The famous Langtang region located in the north of Kathmandu belongs to the Langtang National Park which is Nepal’s second largest national park. The area is rich in Tibetan culture and bio-diversity. Langtang and Helambu are the two different areas. The river valley of Langtang offers healthy forests, some endangered wildlife, breathtaking view of high mountains including Langtang Lirung (7245 m), the tallest in the region, holly lake Gosainkund and most importantly the live culture of the people. The Bhote Kosi, Trisuli river valley is an important migratory route for birds traveling between India and Tibet.

  Trek Itinerary                                       

Day 1: Arrival in kathmandu.
Day 2: Sightseeing / Cultural Day in Kathmandu Valley
Day 3: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1300m) via Trisuli Bazaar (540m)
Day 4: Syabrubesi (1420m) to Lama Hotel (2470m)
Day 5: Lama Hotel to Langtang (3430m)
Day 6: Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m)
Day 7: Rest Day ( Day hike in Chherko-ri 4948m)
Day 8: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (3600m)
Day 9: Lama Hotel (3600m) to Thulo Syabru (2260m)
Day 10: Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa (3330m)
Day 11: Sing Gompa to Laurebina Yak (3920m)
Day 12: Lauberina Yak to Goisakund (4460m)
Day 13: Gosainkunda to Gopte (3440m)
Day 14: Gopte to Tharepati (3640m)
Day 15: Tharepati to Gul Bhanjyang (2492m)
Day 16: Gul Bhanjyang to Chisopani (2194m)
Day 17: Chisopani to Kathmandu
Day 18: Rest Day at Kathmandu
Day 19: Final Departure
