Gorkha is the first capital of city of nepal where the unification of modern was started by king prithvi narayan shah. Gorkha is blessed by full of nature ,hestoric, religious ecological and cultural. Manaslu 8,163 is the eight highest peak in the world which is situated in this region.
Dharche danda is one of the major and highest panorama view point of the lower manaslu trekking trail. we can see more than 20 himalayas peaks and a wonderful view of sunrise and sunset where one could admire and that can be viewed from the top of dharche are annapurna(,II,III, ) annapurana south gangapurna , machhapuchre, langtang, ganesh,shringi, manaslu, himalchuli, Bouddha himal, etc. one should have prayer for the good wishes and avoid natural calmities to the hill deity of dharche. we offer food and wine to the deity. it is believed that if someone offer prayer to the hill deity, they will be blessed with clear visibility and will ward off misfortune while on journey.
A very beautiful Gurung village Laprak is situated in the north 60km from a historic town Gorkha. The route is not so frequented so one who prefer to do the trek in isolated area is the best trek and to discover this gurung village of Laprak (2200m). Overall there are about 500 houses and the habitants of 3000 who are following the Bouddhist culture and strong traditions of their ancestors. There are major three routes to reach to this gurung village of Laprak either by crossing Daraundi valley or crossing budhi gandaki river and along side of the Dharche hill.
Those people who have not enough time to go Himalaya of nepal and who have a certain time but more desire to do a lot of things in that certain times and who want to get closely into the real nepalese lifestyle and culture and tradition of gurung ethnic and others of the Himalayas in the certain period. who want to exploration in the villages and alpine vegetation with flora and fauna.
